How WiseTomorrow works

You get a box with a card inside. You keep it at home and add your important information online. If anything happens to you, the people you trust scan the card to find it.

Step 1

Add your information

Use your phone or computer. Type notes, or upload papers and photos. Everything goes into neat sections, so your family can find what they need.

  • Bank accounts and where they are
  • Important papers and where you keep them
  • Online accounts and who to ask about them
  • Insurance and who to call
  • Notes that tell your family what to do
  • People to call in an emergency

Your notes help your family find their way. They do not replace a will or other legal papers.

Step 2

Change it whenever you need to

Life changes. Add a new account, fix a phone number, or rewrite a note any time.

You can also change who the people you trust are, and what each one can see.

Step 3

If anything happens, they scan the card

Your Wise Card has a code on it. When the people you trust need your information, they scan the code with their phone. The card alone opens nothing.

First they show who they are: they confirm their email and show their ID. We email you, and text you if you gave us your number. Then a waiting time that you picked begins. You can say no at any point before it ends.

You stay in charge

Nothing opens right away. Every time, the person must show their ID and wait the time you picked, and you can say no before it ends. If you cannot answer, it opens when the wait is over. That is how the people you trust can help when you cannot.

You choose who, and what

Add the people you trust. Choose what each one can see: everything, or only some sections. You also choose whether they can download files.

You choose how long they wait

Pick 72 hours, 7 days, 14 days or 30 days. You can say no any time before it ends, or sign in and say yes sooner.

We check their ID every time

A person must show a government ID before they can see anything.

Common questions

What happens if I lose my Wise Card?

Turn it off in your account right away. For a new card, email support. A card alone opens nothing: whoever finds it would still have to be someone you named, show their ID and wait.

Will I know if someone scans my card?

Yes. After the person shows their ID, we email you, and text you if you gave us your number. Then the waiting time starts, and you can say no before it ends. If we cannot be sure our message reached you, nothing opens on its own. Keep your email and phone number up to date.

What if I cannot answer?

Then it opens when your waiting time is over, after the person has shown their ID. That is how your family can get started when you cannot help. It also means that if you are just away and miss our messages, it can open. So pick a waiting time that fits your life.

Wise Box is a one-time purchase. It includes 30 days of Care, starting when you activate your card. After that, Care is $10 a month if you want to keep changing your information. Without Care you can still look at everything for free, and the people you trust can still use the card. We do not charge you automatically.
