Do I have to upload all my private papers?+
No. You can just write down that a paper exists and where you keep it. You choose what to upload and what to only describe.
How does my family get in?+
A person you named scans the card and requests access. They verify their identity and we notify you. Waiting-period access depends on your configured wait and required safety checks; approval-only access requires your approval. Only assigned chapters are shared. This does not give legal authority or guarantee immediate emergency access.
What if I do not pay for Care?+
Nothing bad. You can still look at your information, you just cannot change it. The people you trust can still use the card, with or without a subscription. We never delete your account for not having one.
Why not use Google Drive or iCloud?+
A cloud folder only helps if your family knows it exists, can find it and understands what to do with it. Wise Box gives them a physical starting point and a guided recovery path.
Is my information private?+
Your information is encrypted, and you choose the Trusted People and chapters they may access. Our servers decrypt content to display it; privileged infrastructure access is technically capable of reading it. Nothing private is printed on the Wise Card. See the security details for these limits.
What if someone finds my Wise Card?+
The card opens nothing by itself. A requester must be someone you named, prove their identity and follow the notification and waiting process you set.
How hard is setup?+
